- Dog Walkers London are fully insured including Public Liability Insurance relative to the services performed for their clients.
The Client agrees it is their responsibility to fully insure their own dog. - Dog Walkers London agrees to provide a professional level of service to the client and perform the agreed services in an attentive, dependable and compassionate manner.
- The Client is solely responsible for any and all harm or damage caused by their dog while it is under the care of Dog Walkers London, and agrees to indemnify Dog Walkers London in full against any liability arising from such harm or damage to third parties.
- The Client agrees that, in admitting their dog, Dog Walkers London has relied on the Client’s representation that their dog is in good health and has not harmed or shown aggression or threatening behaviour toward any person or any other dog.
- All dogs will be subject to an initial assessment by Dog Walkers London by way of a paid trial prior to using the Dog Walkers London services. Dog Walkers London reserves the right to refuse admission to any dog deemed in their absolute discretion to be, or have the potential to be, dangerous or disruptive.
- The Client agrees to notify Dog Walkers London immediately of any unwelcome, aggressive, procreative, or dangerous behaviour of their dog that has potential to cause harm to any other dog or individual.
- Dog Walkers London offer services where dogs co-mingle in groups and the Client accepts that during the course of normal dog play their dog may sustain injuries. All dog play is carefully monitored to avoid injury, but scratches, punctures, torn ligaments, or other injuries may occur despite the best supervision.
- Dog Walkers London will only let dogs off the lead once an ‘off the lead consent form’ has been signed, and will remain at the discretion of Dog Walkers London.
- The Client is responsible for the full cost of treatment of any injuries or illness that their dog receives while under the care of Dog Walkers London, together with any associated costs e.g. call-out charges. The Client authorises Dog Walkers London to seek such veterinary advice and/or treatment as they deem necessary; where possible this will be carried out by the Client’s usual/preferred Vet, but this cannot be guaranteed (e.g. in an emergency) and the Client accepts that Dog Walkers London may at their discretion use any registered Vet. The Client agrees to pay all such costs immediately upon receipt of their dog, or by agreement with the proprietor.
- Bitches may attend Dog Walkers London depending on their behaviour and behaviour of other dogs towards them.
The Client agrees to inform Dog Walkers London when their bitch is on heat. Dog Walkers London reserves the right to refuse admission if these criteria are not met. - The Client agrees to take any necessary measures or precautions to ensure that their dog is continuously free of contagious, infections, or otherwise communicable diseases. The Client further agrees to notify Dog Walkers London immediately of any infectious and/or contagious disease or conditions their dog has been exposed to or is affected by. Such diseases and conditions include, but are not limited to: Distemper, Hepatitis, Kennel Cough (Bordetella), Parvovirus, Corona virus, worms, Lyme disease, Fleas, Pregnancy, Infectious Skin Diseases and Intestinal Parasites. Dog Walkers London reserves the right to refuse admission until satisfied that the condition is resolved.
- The Client consents to their dog being photographed, videotaped, and/or used in any media or advertising by Dog Walkers London without prior approval. All such media remain the property of Dog Walkers London.
- The client agrees that their dog may be transported with other dogs in the Company’s customised transport vehicles.
- The Client agrees that Dog Walkers London is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged leads, collars, tags, clothing or any other item left with their dog.
- The Client agrees to ensure their dog has not eaten in the hour before pick up by Dog Walkers London to ensure sufficient time to digest food before any exercise or play. Failure to do so may result in the potentially life-threatening condition Bloat (Gastric Torsion).
- The client understands it is a legal requirement for dogs to be wearing a tag with their contact details on when in public, and does not hold Dog Walkers London responsible if their dog’s tag does not comply with The Control of Dogs Order 1992.
- Your details are held in confidence by Dog Walkers London, in compliance with the Data Protection Act 2018.
- The client agrees that if a towel down after walks has been agreed, adequate cleaning equipment and towels must be provided by the Client and towels left by the front door. Dog Walkers London cannot be held responsible for any dirt/ mess made by your dog in your home if adequate cleaning equipment has not been provided.
- Dog Walkers London will apply personal judgement and cancel/ cut short a walk if necessary, because of extreme weather conditions (ie, heat, thunder storms) for the safety of both the dogs and Dog Walkers London.
- Dog Walkers London may provide enrichment toys/ treats as part of the services carried out. The client agrees to notify Dog Walkers London in writing of any specific allergies.
- The Client agrees to provide keys/ arrange access to the dog for the agreed appointment; failure to do so will result in a cancellation for that day’s service and will be paid in full by the client.
- The Client agrees that Dog Walkers London cannot agree to specific times for the services and any agreed times cannot be guaranteed.
- The client agrees that Dog Walkers London have the right to terminate an overnight stay early if any dogs in the home are showing any signs of aggression or causing severe disruption during the day or night or if the clients dog has any contagious illnesses/ diseases, has fleas/ worms. If an overnight stay is terminated, there will be no refunds for the remaining time of the booking.
- The Client agrees to book Dog Walkers London services no less than a week in advance. Anything less will be at the discretion of Dog Walkers London.
- The client agrees to provide a minimum of 1 weeks notice for the agreed ongoing Dog Walking and Doggy Day Care services if they are going away, or wish to pause the services for any length of time.
- The Client agrees to provide a minimum of 24 hours notice for a Dog Walking or Doggy Day Care appointment cancellation; failure to do so will result in the service being charged and will be paid in full by the client.
- The Client agrees to pay Dog Walkers London 50% of the full amount of a Dog Boarding service when making the booking and the remaining 50% on the last day of service. The Client agrees that until the initial 50% has been paid upfront, the booking will not stand.
- The Client agrees to provide a minimum of one week’s notice for a Dog Boarding appointment cancellation; failure to do so will result in the loss of the 50% deposit required upfront at time of booking.
- The client agrees that should your dog be collected/ returned before the booked departure date/ time, the full length of booking will still be charged.
- Dog Walkers London will give or accept one week’s notice should the client or Dog Walkers London request to terminate the services; unless exceptional circumstances arise and then services will be terminated with immediate effect.
- The Client agrees to pay Dog Walkers London the full amount of a Dog Walking or Doggy Daycare service when making the booking. The Client agrees that until this has been paid upfront, the booking will not stand.
- The Client agrees that, by signing the key holder waiver form this will indemnify Dog Walkers London in full against any liability arising from loss or damage to the property or its contents, in present and future circumstances.
- The client agrees that Bank Holiday and Weekend Dog Walkers London Services are subject to availability. If Dog Walkers London services are available on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and/ or New Years Day, standard rates will not apply.

The client agrees that by accessing and using our services, the client agrees to our terms and conditions.The client acknowledges that this Agreement is a contract between the client and Dog Walkers London, even though it is electronic and may not be physically signed by the client, it governs the clients use of Dog Walkers London services.

This agreement is the sole and entire agreement between the parties, and supercedes all prior agreements, representations and understandings of the parties written or verbal.No variation of these Terms and Conditions will have effect unless confirmed by Dog Walkers London in writing.
